Spring Leaf Bag Collection: April 13-24

The Municipality of South Huron will begin spring leaf bag collection starting Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 24. To ensure your leaves are collected, please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Weekly Pickup: There is no set day for specific streets; bags will be collected weekly as weather permits.
- Bag Requirements: Only biodegradable paper bags will be accepted.
- Weight & Contents: Bags must weigh no more than 23kg (50lbs) and must contain only leaves/yard debris (no garbage or animal feces). Overweight or contaminated bags will be left curbside.
- Post-Collection: Once the period ends on April 24, staff will no longer collect items curbside. However, residents may take leaves and debris to the South Huron Landfill free of charge at any time.
