Condolences

We offer our sincere condolences to the family of Dr. William Langford Tew.

After a long, rich life and fulfilling career in medicine, Dr. Tew died at home, in his 90th year, on Thursday, June 28, 2018, following a short illness. Beloved husband of Anne; cherished only son of the late Dr. William Pelton Tew and Mrs. Vivian Tew of London. Dearly loved father and best friend of Michael and Barbara Tew; beloved Grandpa of Brian and Kerri Beth Tew, Jennifer Tew Gates, and Steven Tew; and fun-loving Great-Grandpa of Grace, Mason, Charlie, and Paxton, all of Tennessee. Predeceased by a son in infancy. Sadly mourned by the Bambury, Popovich, and Allen families. Survived by his daughter Linda Mara and her husband Steve, of London.

In accordance with Bill’s wishes, a private family service has taken place.

Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority Shoreline Management Open Houses

South Huron residents and other interested people invited by Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) to attend two open houses in August.

The first open house takes place on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Thedford.

The second open house takes place on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Zurich. The open houses run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon.
