The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority (ABCA) Board of Directors approved an updated, amended Shoreline Management Plan (SMP) at the board meeting and annual meeting held on Thursday, February 21, 2019.
The approved plan provides a consistent, up-to-date guide for development and municipal land use planning along the shoreline, according to ABCA.

The ACBA has provided an opportunity to provide written feedback by January 25, 2019 to the most recent version of the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority’s Shoreline Management Plan.
This has significant impact for those living along the lakeshore but also for the rest of us in the Park with respect to such things as property values and associated taxes.
Your Board will be reviewing the Plan at our January 2019 meeting.
